Navitus Health Solutions Receives Two eHealthcare Leadership Awards for Digital Communications

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Navitus Health Solutions, a full pass-through pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), announced today that it won platinum awards for Best Annual Drug Trend Report and Best Integrated Marketing Campaign from the 21st Annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards. Announced at the healthcare internet conference’s virtual HCIC@Home conference, the eHealthcare Leadership Awards honor the best websites and digital communications from a broad spectrum of healthcare organizations, and this year, Navitus was the only PBM that received recognition in its winning categories.

Navitus’ 2019 Drug Trend Report garnered recognition as the Best Annual or Special Report in its organization classification. Released in May 2020, the Annual Drug Trend Report demonstrates that Navitus continues to provide substantially lower costs, making pharmacy benefits more affordable. The report highlighted yet another year of significant results for Navitus’ clients of all sizes and types, as it helped organizations achieve a lower, more cost-effective per member per month (PMPM) cost. The 2019 Drug Trend Report further demonstrates how Navitus has helped clients reinvent their pharmacy benefits and achieve greater savings by offering clients a collaborative and fully transparent approach that aligns with their unique goals.

The Best Integrated Marketing Campaign platinum award recognized Navitus’ 2019 Rideshare marketing campaign for its creativity and effectiveness in demonstrating the differences of industry disruptors such as pass-through PBMs compared to traditional PBM models. The Rideshare campaign featured educational graphics and a board game which takes buyers “on a new ride” by comparing the value proposition of disruptors in the rideshare industry to traditional taxi services, and then extending that comparison to pharmacy benefit managers.

“I am honored that Navitus has received recognition as a leader in the eHealthcare space for our creativity and effectiveness in digital communications,” said Byron Mickle, SVP of Sales and Marketing and Chief Growth Officer. “These accolades from the eHealthcare Leadership Awards highlight our commitment to delivering best-in-class marketing that can effectively convey our differentiation in the marketplace and support Navitus’ growth goals.”
