BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atlas RFID Solutions, the leader in Material Readiness® for the construction industry, welcomed more than 260 industry innovators to their eighth annual Jovix® Executive Forum. Presentations included case studies from Bechtel, Burns & McDonnell, Dow Chemical, Fluor, Kiewit, and LamSar. Sessions also included two panels with representatives from Fluor, LamSar, TechnipFMC, and Worley.

With over 90 organizations in attendance, there was extensive conversation around the current state of digitization in the industry. The conference theme was A New Era of Supply Chain Visibility which focused on the momentum and benefits of digital supply chains. Jovix supports this by replacing the antiquated paper and pen material tracking system allowing real-time visibility into material status throughout the supply chain. Utilizing auto-ID including barcode and/or RFID, Jovix pairs consumer devices, drones, handheld and vehicle-mounted readers to automate materials locations and statuses.
During the event, Jovix also presented the latest in the product roadmap, the most notable of which is the power of configurability within the product.
A new component to the event for 2020 was the addition of a User Track which focused on the tactical uses of Jovix across the supply chain and ways to optimize. Led by Jovix Project Managers and SMEs – these sessions provided a deep dive into functionality and processes including Yards/Zones, BOM Management, Supplier Onboarding, and more.
One of the best parts of a virtual event is that the platform used to host the event now houses all the session content and is accessible to past attendees and new viewers.
