Dodge Data & Analytics to Unveil its 2021 Outlook Forecast at Upcoming Virtual 82nd Annual Construction Outlook Conference

Sessions will explore forecasting now and beyond the COVID-19 era

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dodge Data & Analytics today announced that it will host its 82nd annual Dodge Construction Outlook Conference virtually on November 10, 2020 from 1:00–3:00 PM ET. More details on the event can be found here.

Although the event will be virtual this year due to precautions surrounding COVID-19, it has been and remains a cornerstone and seminal reference for C-suite executives, construction industry leaders, and the media, offering critical insights into the U.S. economic and construction market forecasts. Annual attendees include building product manufacturing, architecture and design, construction services, contracting, engineering, industry associations, and many other professionals serving the construction industry.

Dodge’s Outlook 2021 findings will be presented by Chief Economist, Richard Branch, and will include a closer look at next year’s construction forecast and outline the risks and opportunities facing the industry in the year ahead.

"2020 experienced a worldwide pandemic and one of the most severe recessions in U.S. history that caused both short and long-term effects on the entire market, including the construction industry,” said Richard Branch, Dodge’s Chief Economist. “With the presidential election around the corner, new industry trends arising in light of COVID-driven shifts, and the road to recovery underway, this year’s Outlook will effectively set the stage for 2021 and serve as a critical look at what’s to come.”

Outlook 2021 will be delivered via a live two-hour virtual event on November 10, beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET. The full agenda includes the following:

  • 1:00 – 1:05 p.m. | Opening Remarks: Daniel McCarthy, CEO, Dodge Data & Analytics
  • 1:05 – 1:35 p.m. | U.S. Economic Forecast: Chris DeRitis, Deputy Chief Economist at Moody’s Analytics
