Revation Systems Announces the Availability of Secure Video Banking Solution to Meet Banking Need during the Pandemic

United Educators Credit Union & TAPCO Credit Union leverage LinkLive Banking Video

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Revation Systems, a leader in cloud-based, compliant messaging and communications, today announced the release of a video banking solution as part of its flagship solution, LinkLive Banking.

LinkLive Banking is unified communications software hosted in the cloud that offers banking organizations a broad range of capabilities including rich digital messaging, a seamless ability to engage humans across physical and digital channels, and leading voice and video communications. The LinkLive platform is designed to help customers enhance the customer and patient experience.

With more than 400 clients currently using LinkLive Banking, the solution is available to over 100 million digital banking customers. Revation’s clients now have the ability to add video banking to their communications strategy with simple configuration changes to current integrations that LinkLive has with digital banking platforms across the industry.

“We are extremely excited about utilizing LinkLive’s video banking features as we seek to improve our member experience. It’s a natural extension of the LinkLive contact center features and it enables us to integrate into our digital banking platform, which creates a frictionless member experience and also enables our member-facing staff to meet privately in a secure, virtual room,” said Dennis Griesgraber, CTO of United Educators Credit Union.

Revation leveraged its deep domain expertise in secure communications to enhance the way financial institutions securely communicate over video with their customers during the current pandemic. LinkLive’s video banking has innovated the way that companies can communicate with their customers. Because LinkLive Banking does not require the customer to download an app or manage an account, customers can achieve large scale video banking.

“LinkLive’s video banking feature will not only enhance the interactions between our members and representatives but will also help improve communication among our own staff internally. The breadth of capabilities that LinkLive Banking offers made it an easy choice as we continue to work with a single vendor to provide not only video banking features but a full digital member service solution in the cloud,” said John Eyre, Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at TAPCO Credit Union.

Since the LinkLive solution suite was designed with blended media and has its own customized SIP stack (voice protocol), LinkLive Banking offers the highest degree of security to highly regulated industries such as banking.

“Prior to the pandemic, adopting video banking technology to improve digital customer service was a long-term goal for most financial institutions. Now, it has become an urgent priority,” said Perry Price, CEO of Revation Systems. “As video banking becomes commonplace, it is critical that financial institutions prioritize the security of the technology above all else. LinkLive Banking has enabled banks and credit unions across the nation the flexibility to quickly add secure video banking to their offerings with just a simple configuration change.”

LinkLive treats all media types in the same manner at the architectural level so all multimedia types are logged, recorded and encrypted the same way. LinkLive utilizes WebRTC to easily and conveniently enable video on-the-fly in any customer session. Chat, voice, video, file transfer and desktop sharing can be used at any point in any interaction - all without any downloads, apps or accounts to manage. The unique architecture of the solution vastly simplifies the user experience for modernized secure chat and one-on-one video interactions.
