AXIS Re’s North America Property Team Hires Sue Ringold and Bill Orendorf

PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AXIS Re, the reinsurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited ("AXIS Capital") (NYSE:AXS), today announced the hiring of underwriters Sue Ringold and Bill Orendorf, effective immediately. Ms. Ringold joins as a Senior Underwriter and Mr. Orendorf as an Underwriter. They will be joining the North America Property team and will be based in Bermuda.

Ms. Ringold joins AXIS Re from Hiscox Re where she spent more than 10 years. Most recently, she was a Senior Underwriter for Property Treaty, focused on the North America & Caribbean regions. Mr. Orendorf joins from Guy Carpenter where he was a Senior Vice President. Prior to that, he held various underwriting roles at Chubb Tempest Reinsurance and Transatlatic Re.
