Ford to Host Media Conference Call Today: Jim Farley to Succeed Hackett as Company Continues Transformation

DEARBORN, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ford Motor Company’s (NYSE: F) Executive Chairman Bill Ford, President and CEO Jim Hackett and Chief Operating Officer Jim Farley will host a media conference call today at 9:20 a.m. EDT. They will share details on today’s announcement that Hackett, who has led Ford’s transformation since 2017, plans to retire from company. Farley has been named the company’s new president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.
