Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics Settles Lawsuit with II-VI Incorporated

MILFORD, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics, Inc., an innovator and leader in ceramic materials, today announced that it has successfully settled its patent dispute with II-VI Incorporated related to large sheet sapphire, primarily used for defense and military applications. As part of that settlement, II-VI has agreed to license three patents from Saint-Gobain and dismiss its challenges to those patents with prejudice.
