DaySmart Software Honored as Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2020 American Business Awards®

Business management solution provider recognized in the Achievement in Growth category

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--()--DaySmart Software, the leading provider of business management software supporting small business growth, was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Achievement in Growth category in The 18th Annual American Business Awards®. The company was recognized for its outstanding growth in 2019—which was also DaySmart’s 20th year in business.

The Achievement in Growth category acknowledges organizations who have experienced one or more growth-related achievements since the beginning of 2019. Following three consecutive years of 25+% revenue growth, DaySmart began its 20th year by acquiring a pet services cloud software company, PupKeep, in January 2019. With the acquisition of PupKeep, DaySmart was able to expand its pet services offerings to incorporate daycare, boarding and training into its widely used pet grooming software suite. Following the acquisition, the company introduced a Reputation Management add-on capability for each of its product lines, which allows businesses to solicit online reviews from their customers, monitor the reviews being posted and respond to reviews from a simple dashboard that is completely integrated into their existing business management software. In October 2019, DaySmart announced a growth-oriented recapitalization led by LLR Partners and Parthenon Capital—a growth goal that the company had been working toward for years.

In addition to accomplishing these growth milestones, the company was awarded the FastTrack Award by Ann Arbor SPARK for its remarkable developments over the prior three years, and was also honored with their ninth consecutive placement on the Inc. Magazine list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.—an achievement that fewer than 1% of companies named to the list have attained.

More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. A judge responsible for evaluating DaySmart noted, “With aggressive M&A strategy, [DaySmart] achieved organic growth that clearly demonstrates their achievements and shows a team dedicated to excellence. Smart partnerships aided the growth, well done!”

"This award is a testament to the dedication of our employees in delivering best-in-class support and software to meet the unique needs of our small business customers around the world,” said Jeff Dickerson, CEO of DaySmart Software. “We’re thrilled to be recognized for the outputs of that hard work during a milestone year in our organization’s history and are committed to continuing that momentum in the years ahead—particularly as our customers need us and our solutions most.”
