SNOHOMISH, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cyemptive Technologies, a provider of preemptive cybersecurity products and technology and winner of the Department of Homeland Security’s national competition for most innovative border security-related solution in the market, today announced that it has named cybersecurity expert, author, speaker and ethical hacker Bryan Seely to the position of Senior Security Architect.
Seely rose to fame when he became the first hacker to successfully wiretap the United States Secret Service and FBI. A frequent industry speaker, advocate of consumer rights and privacy relating to technology and author whose books include Cyber Fraud: The Web of Lies, Seely has a long track record of providing consulting and training services to companies of all sizes on how to outsmart hackers and protect their organizations from cyberattacks.

In his new role with Cyemptive, Seely will be responsible for designing, building and overseeing the implementation of network and computer security for Cyemptive’s base of business and government customers, using Cyemptive’s patented technology that monitors the state of files, rather than the state of APIs. By using this approach, Cyemptive’s products can identify and eliminate cyberthreats in files before a problem is initiated, unlike current API monitoring technology that only reacts and attempts to correct once compromise has already occurred, which is often too late to prevent disruption to a system.
