Raven Industries Announces Conference Call for 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Shareholders encouraged to attend via webcast

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Raven Industries, Inc. (the Company; NASDAQ:RAVN) announced today that it will conduct a live webcast of its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. The COVID-19 Coronavirus continues to spread around the world and throughout the United States, including South Dakota. The health and safety of Raven’s shareholders, team members, customers and communities are of paramount concern to the company’s Board of Directors and management. Rather than attending the 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders in person, Raven is encouraging its shareholders to listen to the live webcast of the meeting.

Raven plans to hold the meeting at the physical location as presented in the Notice of 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders provided with the proxy materials. However, the company expects to follow an abbreviated format for the meeting and plans to keep the meeting as brief as possible. As such, the company expects only a limited number of Company representatives to attend and will follow social distancing guidelines as expressed by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In addition, Raven encourages shareholders to recognize attending the meeting in person introduces extraordinary and unnecessary health and safety risks. In the event that someone would choose to attend the meeting in-person, the company asks that the attendee wear a face mask. As an alternative, Raven will conduct a live webcast of the meeting, and the company highly encourages access through the webcast or call-in numbers rather than attending the meeting in person.
