Expansion to enable faster product delivery in the Southeast

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE Current, a Daintree company today announced the opening of a new distribution center in the greater Atlanta area.

With the addition of this location to its distribution network, Current will be able to provide same-day and next-day service to its lighting and controls customers regionally.

“Our new Atlanta distribution center enables Current to meet the growing needs of our customers in the southeastern United States in the fastest and most efficient manner,” said Chief Commercial Officer Chip Taylor. “We selected the location because it is ideally positioned to serve our growing customer base in the southeast.”

Located at 5150 Oakley Industrial Boulevard, Fairburn, GA, the 150,000-square-foot facility now stocks a robust offering from Current’s portfolio of solutions. In addition to rapid shipping, the customer-focused center offers will-call service for electric distributors and contractors.
