Winged Keel Group Principal Jeri Turley Named Inaugural Chair-Elect of New Organization Created by the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and GAMA International

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Winged Keel Group (“Winged Keel”) today announced the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) and GAMA International have named Principal Jeri Turley as Chair-Elect of their inaugural Board of Directors. Turley joins the Board as the two groups form a new organization. She previously served as Chair-Elect of AALU’s Board of Directors and officially assumed the role for the new organization on February 18, 2020.

Turley leads Winged Keel’s Richmond, Virginia, and Washington D.C. offices, working closely with ultra-affluent families, their businesses, and their advisors throughout the wealth accumulation and transfer process. She has been a member of the AALU Board of Directors since 2014, also serves on the Board of Directors of M Financial Holdings, Inc., and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond.

Winged Keel has a strong history of advocacy within AALU leadership, which the firm is committed to continuing as part of this newly merged organization. The inaugural Board of Directors also includes Winged Keel Principal Eric Naison-Phillips, and Principal Campbell Gerrish served as AALU President in 2001.

AALU and GAMA International announced on July 29, 2019 that they will be uniting to create a new organization. The new organization will be the first of its kind in the industry by bringing together advocacy, leadership and professional development, and seeking to elevate the profession. Together, the new organization will work to unify 345,000 financial security professionals.
