ALPHARETTA, Ga.--()--Atrium Hospitality, one of the nation’s largest hotel operators, has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey gathers responses to 24 factors covering seven areas, including organizational health factors relating to workplace culture. Employee engagement, company leadership and the basics (pay, benefits, flexibility, training and expectations) are among the questions.

“For more than a decade, the Top Workplaces award has helped organizations stand out among their competitors to attract talent,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “This differentiation is more important than ever in today’s tight labor market. Establishing a continuous conversation with employees so you have a deep understanding of your unique culture is proven to help achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels. No longer is recognition simply a much-deserved cause for celebration, but it’s fast becoming mission-critical to establish a competitive advantage for recruitment and retention.”

The majority of employees in Atrium Hospitality’s corporate office and at our award-winning Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center participated in the Top Workplaces 2020 survey. “I appreciate so many members of our Atrium family voicing their feedback and showing us that they are Atrium proud,” said Atrium Hospitality President Daniel Abernethy. “Five years ago, we set out to create something different in the hospitality industry. We envisioned a progressive, fun workplace driven by four simple values: perseverance, respect, service and teamwork. We’re realizing our vision at a fast pace and are the ideal opportunity for motivated talent looking to grow.”

Atrium is ranked as the seventh-largest management company (ranked by gross annual revenue end of 2018) in the Hotel Business® Green Book 2020. Our corporate social responsibility pillars of wellness, education, embracing individuals with disabilities, and sustainability play a role in our achievements toward developing the hospitality industry’s top talent in Atlanta and across the nation.
