Industry Veteran Patrick Herwig Joins Govplace as Senior Vice President, Sales

In his new role, Patrick will be responsible for leading the sales, sales engineering, and alliance management organizations. As a public sector sales veteran, Patrick brings an impressive track record of Federal sales accomplishments across the civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies.

Mr. Herwig has had numerous sales leadership positions focused on the public sector throughout his 25 years of professional experience. Most recently, he served as the General Manager of the Federal Civilian Business Unit at Iron Bow Technologies. Prior to that, he served as Director of Federal for Vidyo, leading a team delivering collaboration solutions to the Federal Government. Mr. Herwig was a Regional Manager for Public Sector Sales at Cisco and held several positions in Channel Operations, Federal Channels, and Sales at Tandberg. Mr. Herwig earned his BS in Mathematics from James Madison University.
