Canada provider to implement Allscripts iProcedures Anesthesia system to drive effective electronic documentation and charting

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ: MDRX) today announced that Canada’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is continuing its partnership with Allscripts by implementing the iProcedures electronic Anesthesia Information Management Solution (AIMS). The solution will be used in all operating rooms, labour and delivery and other anesthesia-related areas at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Bayview and Holland Centre sites.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre began as a hospital for Canadian veterans, and has since grown into a fully affiliated teaching hospital of the University of Toronto, evolving to meet the needs of its growing community.
