InSync Closes Out 2019 with Record Growth and Expansion into New Markets

As momentum builds in early 2020, InSync celebrates record accomplishments and innovation

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InSync Healthcare Solutions, a leading provider of cloud-based, fully-integrated healthcare software and services, announced today a successful close to 2019 that featured the launch of state-of-the-art technology enhancements tailored to practices, record revenue growth and notable client acquisitions. In addition, the company grew its employee base to position for an aggressive expansion plan in 2020.

Over the last 12 months, InSync accomplished—and exceeded—multiple organizational and product development goals. Most notably, the organization grew employee headcount by 35%, including several executive positions: Director of Human Resources Reeves Judy; Director of Marketing Allie Perry; and Director of Product Jose Dueñas.

The additional employees have already transformed InSync’s branding and product development initiatives as well as boosted technology support for InSync’s dynamic suite of EHRs and other health IT solutions. In doing so, they’ve also enabled the organization to make its mark as a growing enterprise in Tampa, which was recently ranked the No. 1 small tech market in North America by CBRE's annual tech talent report.

“When it comes to acquiring talent, 2019 was an exceptional year for us,” said Roland Therriault, president of InSync Healthcare Solutions. “We made a number of important new hires, which will help to support future technology rollouts, and better serve the needs of practices and other healthcare technology clients.”

Over the past 12 months, InSync achieved significant milestones in product development, including the rollout of its cloud-based EHR into new specialty markets including OB/GYN and substance abuse. The company also added telemedicine and e-prescribing applications and further enhanced its EHR workflows to support easier, faster and more accurate documentation—a gamechanger for providers who feel encumbered by redundant data entry and labor-intensive documentation practices.

Moving Into 2020

As InSync transitions into 2020, the company will continue innovating to help practices face multiple challenges that include a fluid, evolving regulatory environment, new reporting requirements and a sharp rise in overhead costs. In response to these industry trends, InSync’s 2020 agenda includes the unveiling of a highly sophisticated platform that will reduce provider documentation timeframes to just a few minutes, allowing healthcare providers to focus on what they’re good at: providing exceptional patient care.

In addition, InSync plans to do the following in 2020:

  • attract new talent in the growing Tampa metropolitan area and expand local employment opportunities;
  • complete the already underway build out of additional office space to house the growing team;
  • expand specialty-specific enhancements for internal medicine, primary care and physical therapy practices;
  • enhance its patient portal and EHR to improve communications, collaborative care and patient encounters;
  • introduce new reporting and analytics functions that will help practices strengthen operations and boost patient satisfaction.

“We’re excited to kick off 2020 with a lot of momentum,” Therriault continued. “As providers enter a new decade of medicine, we are always thinking about the solutions for daily challenges – and future needs. We’re excited about this next phase of growth and moving forward.”
