AutoGrid Chosen for Global Cleantech 100 List for 7th Year in a Row

Cleantech Group recognizes AutoGrid as one of world’s top 100 cleantech leaders

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AutoGrid, the market leader in flexibility management software for the energy industry, has won recognition as a 2020 Global Cleantech 100 company by Cleantech Group, solidifying the company’s position as one of world’s top 100 clean technology companies for a seventh consecutive year.

“At AutoGrid, we’re accelerating the world’s transition to a clean, affordable and reliable energy system through AI-enabled software,” said Amit Narayan, AutoGrid CEO. “It’s an honor for the Global Cleantech 100 to recognize the critical role that flexible energy management will play in how the world produces, uses and distributes energy over the next decade and beyond.”

The Global Cleantech 100 annually takes the pulse of the global innovation community on the companies most likely to make the greatest impact in the next five to 10 years. “It feels right that our first list of the future-defining 2020s should see a continued strengthening in the representation of truly impactful and necessary innovations to transform our diets, to enable a more renewable-heavy energy system, and to capture and utilize the vast levels of CO2 we have been freely emitting for decades,” said Richard Youngman, CEO, Cleantech Group.

AutoGrid was selected from among a record 13,900 companies from 93 countries. The Global Cleantech 100 list is assembled by combining proprietary research data with weighted qualitative judgments from hundreds of nominations and specific inputs from a global 87-member expert panel.
