Uplight Names Angela Tucci Chief Operating Officer

Senior Operational Leader brings 24 years experience to help new company scale to next level of growth

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Uplight, the leader in connected customer energy experiences, today announces the appointment of Angela Tucci as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Effective immediately, Tucci will lead Uplight’s product, engineering, regulatory, sales, customer success and marketing squads.

Tucci’s 24-year career as an operational leader has spanned roles from entrepreneur to public company executive. Most recently, she served as the CEO Of Apto, Inc. where her team delivered on a new business model that increased bookings and revenue per user and decreased costs. She has also served as the Chief Revenue Officer of publicly held Rally Software, Senior Vice President and General Manager of CA Technologies, and Chief Strategy Officer of Symantec. Most recently, Tucci was named to WomenInc. Magazine’s 2019 Most Influential Corporate Directors.

She holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an A.B. in physics from Princeton University. Tucci is also a trustee and Vice-Chairperson for AnitaB.org, a $45M non-profit focused on gender equality for technical women.
