In his role, Rogers will focus on instilling a system that attracts the best talent in order to contribute across every aspect of the company. Rogers adds even more rich experience to Coupang’s veteran team as he has held significant senior leadership positions in legal and compliance. Prior to joining Coupang, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in Millicom Inc., a leading global telecommunications company. During his tenure, Rogers built a world-class ethics and compliance program.
Before Millicom, Rogers was a partner at renowned international law firm Sidley Austin LLP, where he represented individual, corporate and government clients in compliance issues and complex litigation. In his nearly 10 years with the firm, Rogers accumulated a wealth of experience in setting up and managing compliance programs, strengthening compliance policies and procedures as well as conducting training and development. He has also assisted many large corporations in negotiations with authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
