Women’s Soccer Star Carli Lloyd to Give Closing Keynote at Ellucian Live 2020

Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion to Address Student Success, Overcoming Obstacles, Diversity, and the Impact of Higher Education

Ellucian Live, Ellucian’s annual users’ conference, will be held in Orlando, Florida from April 5-8, 2020 with more than 8,000 participants expected from over 1,300 higher education institutions worldwide. The keynote will take place in a fireside chat format, where Lloyd will sit down with Ellucian chief marketing officer Asim Zaheer.

Carli Lloyd is best known as an American soccer player; the all-time leading scorer at Rutgers University, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion. However, Carli’s path to success wasn’t always easy, and many don’t know of her 12-year struggle making it to the top. During those years, Lloyd understood the importance of hard work, dedication, focus and lifelong learning as the foundation for success. Lloyd currently plays for Sky Blue FC in the National Women’s Soccer League and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team, where she plays midfield.
