Berkley Equine & Cattle Hires Sheila Gott as Additional Underwriting Manager in Lexington, KY

NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkley Equine & Cattle, a division of Berkley Program Specialists, a Berkley Company®, announced today its recent hire of Ms. Sheila Gott, who joined the executive leadership team as Senior Vice President and Equine Underwriting Manager effective January 2, 2020.

With the addition of Ms. Gott, Berkley Equine & Cattle will have two underwriting teams which will allow them to continue offering their great products and services to a broader agency base. Having two teams will also provide for a more diverse product set and increased investments in technology to ensure a world class experience for agent partners and insureds. As an Equine Underwriting Manager, Ms. Gott will be responsible for managing the second Berkley Equine & Cattle equine mortality underwriting team, based in Lexington, KY while the team headed by Mike Anello, SVP and Equine Underwriting Manager, will continue to be based in Alpharetta, GA. Both Underwriting Managers with report to Greg Douglas, President of Berkley Program Specialists.
