Japan's Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS 2019 ASEAN Inbound Program 11th Batch

TOKYO--()--Twenty Philippines youth who are engaged in Media are scheduled to visit Japan from November 25th to December 3rd as part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs “JENESYS 2019” promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
In this program, they will visit Tokyo and Aichi prefecture to experience the international exchange program under the theme of “Exchange for Young Journalists -Infrastructure-”. In Tokyo, they will visit NHK Museum of Broadcasting, East Japan Railway Company, and Traffic control Center and other facilities. And in Aichi, they will visit The Asahi Shimbun Company, Nagoya Office to understand the ideal way of the Media. At SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, they will learn the initiative of Japanese infrastructures and the influence on society through the economy, culture, and lifestyle of Japan.
Through this program, we hope that it ties the friendly relationships between Japan and Philippines, and the participants proactively share the appeals of Japan and other information after returning to Philippines.

People with the ability and future mission to deliver messages between Japan and the countries and regions of Asia and Oceania are invited and dispatched in order to promote an understanding of Japan with regard to politics, economics, society, culture, history, foreign policy, and the like, and pro-Japanese people and experts on Japan are discovered in order to strengthen Japan’s message to other countries and expand Japan’s diplomatic foundation by having the guests and dispatches take the initiative to spread information about the diplomatic stance, appeals, and other facets of Japan.
