SALISBURY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Food Lion has served the Goose Creek community for 35 years and this week customers will be able to shop a new store that offers an expanded assortment of fresh and affordable items along with the option of conveniently shopping for their groceries online.
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, customers will experience a new, larger and more convenient Food Lion store location at 142 St. James Ave., in Goose Creek, S.C.
The store will open to the public at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, following a 7:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, where the first 100 customers in line will receive a mystery Food Lion gift card valued $10. One lucky winner will receive a $200 Food Lion gift card. The first 100 customers also will receive a Food Lion reusable grocery bag.
Customers shopping the store will be able to choose from an expanded variety of products, including in-store fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, in-store made hand-battered buttermilk fried chicken, and many other new items. In addition, the store will feature “Grab-n-go” meals to help make dinner easier for customers and an expanded health and beauty section.
