GOLDEN, Colo.--()--On Tap Credit Union®, a leader in providing consumers in Colorado communities with innovative financial solutions for more than 60 years, is offering a new self-paced financial literacy resource. Tips on Tap powered by Enrich offers thousands of online materials spanning from financial education to career development and even includes courses on continuing your education. The new platform offers comprehensive curriculum consisting of articles, videos, courses, interactive games, budgeting calculators, and so much more that Members can tap into on their mobile or desktop device. This new resource aligns closely with On Tap’s mission and values of providing the best financial guidance throughout our local communities.

"Based on recent brand surveys, we’ve come to find about 10-20% of our Membership is asking for an educational platform that will provide financial literacy on their own time, not a scheduled seminar or event,” said On Tap Credit Union President and CEO Tracie Wilcox. “The new tool is an interactive, easy to use learning experience for anyone to take at their own pace and benefit from the lessons or action items presented in the curriculum.”

Upon initial sign-up of the platform the individual will be prompted to take an in-depth financial assessment which evaluates their strengths and opportunities and in turn will provide the user with personalized courses specific to their needs. Courses include how to minimize financial stress, teaching financial education to your children, buying your first home or even a step by step guide on understanding your credit score. An individual can opt out of completing the assessment and still have access to all the resources the site has to offer. Every person’s financial situation is unique, so this platform is personalized and provides crafted educational programs for each individual’s needs.

One of the top features on the site are the thirty-two different interactive calculators for such reasons as:

  • Ease of use, accessibility
  • Several focused on different life phases (retirement, savings)
  • Calculators focused on large purchases (car loans, mortgages, student loans)
  • Comparing financial options (savings versus money market)
  • Education on the numbers or expenses is also provided

Tips on Tap also offers curriculum outside of financial literacy, such as entrepreneurship, internships, networking, career development and much more. With endless opportunities the site has to offer, any individual no matter what phase of life can find something of value within this tool, so what’s your next adventure calling you to do and how can we help craft it?

As a kick-off to launching Tips on Tap, On Tap would like to invite the local community to swing by either of our two branches (Golden or Arvada) on Thursday, October 3rd from 11-1pm or 3-5pm to sign up. The platform is free to any of our Members and we’re happy to meet with non-Members about it as well.
