OAKLAND, Calif.--()--To raise awareness about the impassioned work that companies are doing to create great workplace cultures, Great Place to Work® has registered October 22, 2019 as Certification Nation Day.

On October 22nd, the Great Place to Work-Certified community will come together on social media to recognize employees that drive culture forward and celebrate the tremendous accomplishment of getting Great Place to Work-Certified.

Great Place to Work Certification provides companies with prestigious, third-party validation of their workplace culture. To get Certified, companies administer the Trust Index©, Great Place to Work's research-backed employee survey, which captures the experience of all employees. Companies that meet the benchmark receive Certification and a promotional toolkit for promoting their status. They are also eligible for more than a dozen additional recognition opportunities with media partners such as Fortune and People.

Great Place to Work Certification has tremendous benefits for companies in both recruiting new talent, attracting new partners and driving employee morale and retainment.

Michael Bush, the CEO of Great Place to Work, says, “I am looking forward to focus the world on the Certified companies that put employees first and focus on creating high-trust cultures that employees rave about. Based on our three decades of research, we know the powerful impact that a strong culture can have on every employee’s experience. Thriving employees increase revenue, profit and provide market leading customer experiences. I hope that Certification Nation Day can inspire other executives to create and sustain employee-first cultures.”

Certified Companies that would like to join the virtual celebration can learn more on the Certification Nation Day site. Companies that are not yet Great Place to Work-Certified can learn more on the Great Place to Work website.
