CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maranon Capital, L.P. (“Maranon”) announced today that Tom Kinzer has joined the firm as an Associate and Raiq Ahmed and James “JD” McElenney have joined the firm as Analysts. In their new roles, Tom, Raiq and JD will work with Maranon’s senior professionals on new investments and monitoring portfolio company performance.
Tom Kinzer has more than four years of experience in both investment banking and leveraged lending. Prior to joining Maranon, Tom was an Associate at Livingstone Partners specializing in M&A and debt advisory services for private equity clients. Prior to Livingstone, Tom was an Analyst at Regions Bank in the corporate banking group. He earned his B.A. in Economics and Entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University.
Raiq Ahmed is returning to Maranon after completing an internship with the firm in 2018. Raiq earned a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
James McElenney is returning to Maranon after completing an internship with the firm in 2018. JD earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
