DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pillar Income Asset Management and Transcontinental Realty Investors held their annual summer donation event in support of Single Parent Advocate organization of Dallas, Texas.
Chris Childress, Pillar’s Vice President of HR & Administration commented, “Single Parent Advocate had a record year collecting school supplies, so we decided to fulfill another ongoing need for the organization with a Stock the Socks event collecting over 600 pairs of socks for kids of all ages.” She continued, “We also provided over 200 handwritten notes for each of the kids and parents going back to school.”
“Pillar’s volunteer turnout was such a great help,” said Stacie Poythress, Single Parent Advocate’s Founder and President. “They donated a huge amount of fun socks, over 25 scientific calculators, 230 hand written notes, and several employees volunteered at the Back To School Supplies Party where our organization donates hundreds of filled backpacks.”
