Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance Selects Eccovia Solutions for Homeless Management Information System

SALT LAKE CITY--()--Eccovia Solutions announced today that its ClientTrack™ health and human services platform has been selected by the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) to provide their Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and data sharing platform for the Dallas County and Collin County Continuum of Care.

On any given night, there are more than 4,500 individuals experiencing homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties. MDHA is working diligently and tirelessly to enhance their homeless response system by improving data quality, collaboration, and reporting capabilities for optimal allocation of resources and ongoing outcomes reporting. These changes are aimed at achieving the goal of making the experience of homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties rare, brief, and non-recurring.

MDHA CEO Carl Falconer explained that having a new system would benefit nonprofits, healthcare providers, and the criminal justice system as they work to better communicate and address the needs of their joint clients. He would also like to see the new data sharing capabilities fuel partnerships with private organizations.

Falconer stated, "Having a better data system that everybody can use, and sharing the data between all of our systems, I think, is going to be really important to move us forward.”

ClientTrack was chosen to help MDHA achieve its goals because it is an advanced HMIS case management and housing solution that serves the needs of HMIS continuum member agencies and their community partners. For over 16 years, their purpose-built ClientTrack HMIS has helped CoCs utilize data to assess the specific needs of the homeless or those at risk of homelessness to help them achieve permanent housing, coordinate services among community providers, and comply with the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) HMIS Data Standards.

Carl Champagne, CEO of Eccovia Solutions, said, “Partners have trusted Eccovia Solutions for many years to help them transition their old HMIS data to our fully HUD compliant HMIS platform so that they can move forward with a truly integrated platform.”
