SAN FRANCISCO--()--Anaplan, Inc. (NYSE:PLAN), a pioneer in Connected Planning, today announced 41 new deals signed with Deloitte, one of the world’s largest professional services organizations and Anaplan’s Global Partner of the Year 2019. Contributing to a successful global alliance, Deloitte now boasts more than 650 consultants delivering Anaplan solutions to customers—with plans to double that number by 2021—and increased its number of certified Anaplan model builders by 67 percent year-over-year to keep up with market demand.

“Together with Anaplan, we are seeing increased appetite and momentum for Connected Planning solutions across industries and verticals to give our clients a competitive edge amidst constant, disruptive and unpredictable market changes,” said Ed Majors, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and US & Global Anaplan Alliance Leader. “We are honored to be at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions to the market with Anaplan that are enhancing business planning and execution for sales, operations, and finance.”

By combining the flexibility, customizable capabilities, and power of Anaplan’s platform for Connected Planning with Deloitte’s strategic planning capabilities and seasoned industry professionals, the alliance delivers solutions that address workforce planning, sales planning, financial planning and analysis and tax planning across industries like Oil and Gas, Insurance, CPG and Retail.

One of the market-changing solutions jointly launched by the two companies is a new Digital Commercial Planning Solution that provides consumer goods and retail companies a holistic view of performance across markets, channels and categories. The highly customizable solution allows customers to leverage Anaplan’s cloud-based platform with Deloitte’s revenue management analytics platform, DemandBrain™, to help joint customers drive faster, better decisions through automation. Initial wins include a gaming company and one of the world’s largest beer brewing companies that are looking to optimize their own go-to-market efforts.

“From the rise of e-commerce to rapidly evolving consumer expectations, the confluence of disruptive trends is forcing consumer goods companies to rethink their planning and decision making capabilities,” said Ana Pinczuk, Chief Transformation Officer at Anaplan. “With Deloitte, we jointly created a custom-built commercial planning solution that connects people, data, and plans to enable real-time decision-making and give consumer products companies a competitive edge.”

Deloitte will take the main stage at Anaplan’s premiere customer event, Connected Planning Xperience (CPX), in San Francisco, June 10-12, to lead a discussion on digital transformation. Deloitte is the global platinum sponsor of CPX and will exhibit in the Xperience Hall with 34 Anaplan partners showcasing innovation across industries and lines of business.
