Associate Professor

Development Education Program at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Dr. Chanita is an Associate Professor in Development Education Program at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She received her bachelor degree in Law (with honor) from Thammasat University, Thailand and graduated from Michigan State University, USA, with a Doctorate in Socio-Philosophical Foundations of Education. Her areas of specialization include sociology of education, development education, comparative education, education law, as well as education for sustainable development.

Before joining the Faculty of Education, she worked at the Center of Educational Policy, Office of the National Commission of Education, Thailand. Dr. Chanita has just ended her term as Dean of the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her present positions are Director, R&D Center for Educational Policy, Management, and Leadership, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Vice-President, Thailand Comparative and International Education Society (TCIES), and President of Comparative Education Society of Asia (CESA).

Jeremy is a senior researcher for the School of Education in the Faculty of Education and Arts and Associate Director for the Centre for Schooling and Learning Technologies. His research interests include, e-learning in remote areas and diverse cultural contexts, digital assessment. study using technology in remote areas.
