NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO), a world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions, has released EViews 11, a new version of its world class software that enables quick and efficient development of statistical and forecasting models and simulations.
EViews 11 updates include Python integration, spreadsheet coloring, fan charts, elastic net and LASSO estimation, new Bayesian Vector Autoregressions (VARs), mixed frequency VARs and switching VARs.
The update also includes access to Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), U.S. Census and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) databases and the capacity to load and display geographical maps. The mapping tool enables users to visualize changes in their data series and shifts in regional patterns over time.
