CACI U.S. Operations First in U.S. to Be Appraised at New CMMI® DEV V2.0 Model Maturity Level 3

Recognizes Company’s Capability to Deliver Reliable Customer Solutions and Proven Best Practices

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today its U.S. Operations is the first organization in the U.S. to complete an appraisal under the CMMI Institute’s new Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development version 2.0 (CMMI DEV V2.0) Maturity Level 3. The latest version of the CMMI model requires higher standards in measuring an organization’s ability to tie business goals directly to operations driving measurable, improved performance against time, quality, budget, customer satisfaction, and other key attributes.

The Department of Defense and federal civilian government agencies use CMMI DEV V2.0 as a framework to evaluate a contractor’s ability to perform on systems and software engineering projects. CACI’s appraisals were performed by Process Assessment, Consulting and Training LLC, a CMMI Institute partner organization.

CACI’s early adoption of CMMI V2.0 confirms CACI’s organizational commitment to providing its customers with accurate, and predictable processes that deliver solutions to meet government mission requirements. By moving to the new CMMI V2.0, CACI assures its customers its solutions follow industry-standard processes to deliver solutions on time and within budget. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the organization’s processes are well-characterized, including its standards, procedures, tools, methods, and governance.
