Motus Completes Post-Acquisition Integration of Runzheimer

The Motus Vehicle Management and Reimbursement Platform Is Poised for Innovation and Growth Now that Integration is Complete

BOSTON--()--Motus, the premier vehicle management and reimbursement platform, today announced that it has reached key milestones following last year’s acquisition of Runzheimer, setting the company up for further growth and product innovation in 2019 and beyond. Motus has transitioned more than 1,075 customers and 123,400 end users since April of 2018, with a greater than 99 percent retention rate of customers. Throughout this process, Motus continued to achieve remarkable growth, closing 334 new customers and an additional 58,000 end users; driving year-over-year revenue growth of more than 275 percent.

“Any time companies are coming together through an M&A process there is the potential for things to go wrong. However, these two teams came together in remarkable fashion by focusing on all of the things that they had in common with respect to delivering value and service to our clients and end users. It is a passionate group of people, and they accomplished this integration while retaining – and even gaining – marquee customers; a true testament to each member of the team as well as the powerful platform that they have all helped to create,” said Craig Powell, CEO of Motus. “Moving forward as a fully-aligned team and integrated customer base, our focus now shifts to accelerating the product innovations that we are so excited to bring to our market as we double-down on our mission to make the lives of mobile workers better.”

The rapid platform integration and subsequent migration of customers from the legacy Runzheimer vehicle reimbursement solution to the cloud-based Motus platform means Motus is now able to focus its efforts on accelerating revolutionary product innovation. Customers like Behr and the American Heart Association are now able to recognize the benefits of a truly cloud-based SaaS platform, including increased product functionality, best-in-class data security and faster time to market of new offerings. Motus is already taking advantage of its augmented resources by building highly-anticipated solutions such as a groundbreaking fuel savings program to be unveiled later this year, as well as looking at additional markets for applying the IRS’s FAVR regulation.

To support its disruptive technologies and rapidly-expanding customer base, Motus has also extended its offices to include Milwaukee and Chicago, magnifying its talent with new resources and expertise.
