BERKELEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InkSpace Imaging is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Peter Fischer as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 26. After closing its first round of private funding in February of this year, InkSpace Imaging is looking forward to continued growth under the leadership of Dr. Fischer.

Dr. Fischer holds a PhD in semiconductor physics, serves on the board of OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) and brings more than 19 years of experience taking new technologies and products from lab to fab. Since 2015, he served as COO of Thinfilm Electronics, a global leader in NFC mobile marketing and smart-packaging solutions using printed electronics technology. Prior to Thinfilm Electronics, he served as CTO at Plastic Logic, a printed electronics company developing flexible displays, Director of Backend Products at Qimonda, and Senior Manager of Frontend Process Integration at Infineon Technologies. In 2012, Dr. Fischer was named one of the top “Forty Innovators Building the Foundation of the Next-gen Electronics Industry” by EETimes.
