Roberts & Ryan Investments, Inc. Welcomes Skilled Professionals: Alexander Bonello, Gregory Faranello, and Jason Hardzewicz

NEW YORK--()--Roberts and Ryan Investments Inc., a registered FINRA broker-dealer and certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) business, is pleased to welcome aboard Alexander Bonello, Gregory Faranello, and Jason Hardzewicz to their team of skilled professionals.

Alexander Bonello, Senior Director of Institutional Sales and Trading, has over 23 years of expertise in sell-side program trading and sales trading. He has served as a Vice and Senior Vice President at WJB Capital Group, Cuttone and Co., Pulse Trading, and Knight Securities. He was last with Ladenberg Thalmann as a Managing Director on their Institutional Equity Trading desk. Formerly in the New York area, Mr. Bonello will oversee the Dallas, Texas office.

Gregory Faranello, CFA, Senior Director and Head of the Rates Group, brings 25 years of experience in fixed income rates trading. Mr. Faranello’s career began as a fixed income derivative analyst at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs. Following Goldman, Mr. Faranello moved to the buy side as an assistant portfolio manager on the international bond desk with Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Moving back to the sell side, he was a Managing Director and FICC management member for RBS Greenwich Capital, WestLB, Espirito Santo, and RBC serving as head trader and risk manager. He recently was a Principal at Sionic Advisors LP, a global consulting firm focused on banks and broker dealers. Mr. Faranello was accepted to, and for a time attended, the United States Military Academy. Later, he earned a BBA and MBA from Hofstra University in Banking, Finance, and International Business and is a CFA Charterholder. Greg is a member of the CFA Institute, the NYSSA and serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business.

Jason Hardzewicz, Senior Vice President of Business Development, began at the NYSE and became a member of the exchange in 2001. As a trading specialist on the NYSE trading floor he handled trading IPOs, company spinoffs, and mergers. He was named as a team leader in 2004, managing a trading team in risk, performance, and compliance. He became a trading floor official in 2009 and was named co-chairman of the Security and Safety Committee in 2013. Mr. Hardzewicz has extensive experience with corporate leaders as a primary NYSE point of contact. He is a frequent market structure panelist, discussing equity market evolution. Mr. Hardzewicz is a graduate of Rutgers School of Business earning a BS in finance.
