INCHEON, South Korea & LAS VEGAS--()--Yujin Robot (KOSDAQ: 056080), one of the leading service robot companies, announced that it would participate in CES 2019, the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics show from Jan 8 to 11.

At the CES, it will demonstrate the LiDAR sensor technology it developed completely on its own, its autonomous transport system GoCart 120 and the latest version of its robot vacuum cleaner outfitted with artificial intelligence, iCLEBO O5, in a bid to advance to the US and other markets. The LiDAR sensor Yujin Robot will be highlighted at the CES 2019, which can make sense of indoor environments or objects three-dimensionally. It perceives its surroundings quickly and precisely enough to enable mapping and localization. It can sense very small obstacles and has a wide field of view. The field of view is a solid angle through which a sensor can observe an area at any given moment. It is small enough to be installed in small household electric appliances, such as robot vacuum cleaners. It is also better in quality and cheaper than its rival products. This technology is applicable to an array of service robots and various industrial safety and security sensors, including safety laser scanners.

Yujin Robot will demonstrate how GoCart 120 drives itself to load and unload automatically in sync with a conveyor belt. By using the company’s autonomous transport technology, GoCart can analyze space and perceive obstacles correctly, call and ride an elevator to move between floors and pass through automatic doors. It is efficient in cramped facilities, such as factories or warehouses with complex traffic lines.

Yujin Robot’s new product, iCLEBO O5 is the first iCLEBO equipped with artificial intelligence. Through its exclusive application, users can order cleaning, check the progress of the cleaning real-time and designate an area to clean—all remotely. Yujin Robot will emphasize its innovative functions including AI-enabled recognition of voices, activated by Alexa and Google Assistant.

“After CES 2019, we will concentrate on opening marketing agencies abroad and build a stronger business relationship with our partners,” Yujin Robot CEO Shin Kyeong-cheol said.
