FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Motus GI Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ: MOTS) ("Motus GI" or the "Company"), a medical technology company dedicated to improving clinical outcomes and enhancing the cost-efficiency of colonoscopy, announced today the pricing of its follow-on public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $2.70 per share, for total gross proceeds of $13.5 million. The offering is expected to close on December 24, 2018, subject to customary closing conditions. In addition, the Company granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 750,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price.
Piper Jaffray & Co. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering. A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners and Dougherty & Company are acting as co-managers for the offering.
Motus GI intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund commercialization activities, research and development activities, including clinical and regulatory development and the continued development and enhancement of the Pure-Vu® System, and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
