BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hancock Whitney and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $16,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Scotlandville Community Development Corporation (Scotlandville CDC) for organizational capacity building including educational and financial seminars.
Local dignitaries will join bank representatives in awarding the funds at a check presentation at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Scotlandville CDC’s offices at 1920 Goudchaux Street in Baton Rouge. The media is encouraged to attend.
Scotlandville CDC is a volunteer-based organization that provides financial training and resources to low- to moderate-income families and individuals in Baton Rouge.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions like Hancock Whitney to make a contribution of $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
