FORT WORTH, Texas--()--BlackEyed Distilling Co., a Texas-based, award-winning artisan vodka company, today announced the highly anticipated release of the distillery’s second, limited-edition bottle amidst rapid growth under Texas natives and co-owners Todd Gregory and Scott Billings.

As an homage to BlackEyed Distilling’s Fort Worth roots, Gregory and Billings commissioned local contemporary painter Pat Gabriel to create the company’s first label, Farm Field at Dusk, a striking landscape of warm sunflowers against a black-and-white background. The newest limited-edition bottle—featuring a stunning design from renowned Fort Worth painter and sculptor Nancy Lamb—will be unveiled in the tasting room Nov. 2, 2018. The reveal will include craft cocktails and unique recipes, as well as a bottle signing with Nancy.

“Scott and I are committed to the Fort Worth community and are excited to infuse the creativity of local artists into the spirit of BLK EYE Vodka,” Gregory said. “Nancy’s beautiful art immediately catches the eye and makes a clear statement on bar and store shelves.”

Gregory and Billings, also the company’s head distiller, were inspired by the unique, grain-to-glass quality of BlackEyed Distilling’s flagship spirit, BLK EYE Vodka.

“BLK EYE is the only vodka distilled with black-eyed peas, which adds a subtle texture and smoothness to its drinkability that can’t be found, or enjoyed, in any other vodka,” Billings said. “Our grain is Texas-grown from start to finish. Our naturally gluten-free, non-GMO, handcrafted vodka delivers not only a singular taste, but a true farm-to-bottle experience.”

Originally a CPA by trade, Billings met Gregory at a private equity firm in Dallas. Gregory was fittingly raised on a black-eyed pea farm in Texas, making a joint venture into the spirits industry a natural fit. After purchasing the distillery, Gregory and Billings continued to operate out of the original 107-year-old firehouse in the heart of Fort Worth. The historic building features a 21-foot vodka distillation column in place of the classic fireman’s pole.

BLK EYE Vodka’s suggested retail price is $29.99. For more information about BlackEyed Distilling Co. and where to find BLK EYE Vodka, visit www.blackeyed.vodka.
