Through New Partnership, Blue Apron Taps Jet To Be The First E-Retailer To Offer Meal Kits To City Consumers

(NYSE: APRN), known for delivering incredible meal experiences, has tapped Jet to be the first e-retailer to offer an assortment of its meal kits for purchase on Jet’s online and mobile platforms. Beginning today, millions of households across most of New York City, as well as Jersey City and Hoboken, can access Blue Apron through same-day or next-day delivery via Jet’s City Grocery offering.

As a priority partner in Jet’s newly-launched City Grocery offering, Blue Apron will have a dedicated branded experience featuring a rotating selection of two-serving recipes specifically designed to serve the Jet customer.

The announcement comes on the heels of Jet’s new relaunch offering consumers a tailored experience, unique assortment and differentiated service. As part of the relaunch, Jet introduced its new City Grocery experience which offers consumers in most of New York City 3-hour scheduled delivery windows for groceries, everyday essentials and other select merchandise. With this new delivery option, consumers will have the ability to order and receive a selection of Blue Apron meal kits on-demand.
