Starting with family planning centers, Vagisil’s donations will provide Preventeza™ to women nationwide.

How Preventeza™ Works
Preventeza™ can be taken within 72 hours (three days) after unprotected sex has occurred, yet is most effective the sooner it is taken. Preventeza™ works mainly by stopping the release of an egg from the ovary. Preventeza™ will not harm an existing pregnancy. Preventeza™ does not protect women from HIV infection (the virus that causes AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
When used as directed, Preventeza™ can significantly decrease the chance of a woman becoming pregnant after unprotected sex. Approximately seven out of every eight women who would have become pregnant will not after taking Preventeza™.
