SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vaquero Capital, an investment banking firm focused on serving entrepreneurs and investors throughout the private company lifecycle, announced it has appointed Danny Allen as Vice President of Operations and General Counsel. Allen joined Vaquero on September 17 and reports to Managing Partner David Grove.

Allen has 20 years of experience with startups, technology companies, and professional services, and most recently was General Counsel & COO at Carousel30 and EVP & General Counsel at Sensis. Earlier in his career, he was an attorney at leading global law firms where he did venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other major transactions for companies and investors. Allen graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Joilene Grove will continue to provide compliance, HR, and legal support at Vaquero.
