SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tradeshift, the world’s largest business commerce platform, today announced that Amer Moorhead has joined the company as its new senior vice president, chief legal officer and general counsel. The position will blend a number of responsibilities to help guide the company’s business operations.

He’ll be our legal advisor across every aspect of the company.”
Moorhead has held executive legal leadership roles at a number of high-growth technology firms. Most recently, he served as the vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at data-platform vendor Couchbase. There, Moorhead had responsibility across all elements of the company’s legal needs, with an emphasis on corporate, board, and financing activities, as well as globalizing and scaling Couchbase’s selling and contracting processes.
Before Couchbase, Moorhead was senior vice president and chief legal counsel at SAP and senior vice president at Ariba.
Moorhead holds a bachelor of science, business administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He earned both a master of business administration, finance and a juris doctor, business law from the University of San Francisco. He joined Tradeshift in August.
