VirtualHealth Expands Industry Leading Team with Clinical Operations and Security Hires

NEW YORK--()--VirtualHealth, the leading SaaS platform for care management and population health, announced today that Mirabelle B. Cabiling, RN, has joined its team as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Dominic Kalvelis has joined as Director of Information Security. Together, they bring a combined 30 years of experience to their respective roles to supporting VirtualHealth’s mission of proactive care through technology.

Cabiling, who earned her RN from Cerritos College, brings care management and regulatory knowledge to VirtualHealth, where she will guide the clinical aspects of the company’s platform. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and optimizing the VirtualHealth platform’s clinical protocols and workflows to drive proactive care management for millions of members.

Cabiling was previously a care management leader with Healthfirst, where she led a team of primary care managers, comprising RNs and licensed clinical social workers, to reach organizational goals. In that position, she ensured compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines to deliver high quality, efficient and cost-effective care to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. She is a board-certified care manager (CCM) and an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Kalvelis brings extensive technical expertise to his role with VirtualHealth, including IT management, network and information security, and solution and policy design. As Director of Information Security, he assumes responsibility for ongoing management and enhancement of VirtualHealth’s state-of-the-art security infrastructure.

Prior to joining VirtualHealth, Kalvelis was the cyber security lead for Safra National Bank, where he implemented corporate security policies across all branches, assessed and responded to security incidents, and oversaw all risk management and training pertaining to cyber security. He also worked as the HIPAA compliance security manager for CMMA. Kalvelis holds a master’s degree from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College.
