Eric Dusansky, Managing Director, Head of New York Equity Sales
Eric Dusansky brings more than 20 years of experience leading and building value add businesses. He spent ten years in New York and in London as a key architect behind the buildout and growth of Sterne Agee & Leach where he covered a variety of accounts and developed a Research Sales and Equity Research Team. Eric began his career at Lehman Brothers. At Seaport Global, Eric will be responsible for expanding sales coverage in New York. Eric is a graduate of Wesleyan University and holds a MBA from Yale University.
Jacob Levine, Managing Director, Head of Equity Product and Client Strategy
Jacob Levine brings 15 years of experience from both sides of the business; he ran product management at Oppenheimer and Jefferies and worked at Magnetar Capital. Most recently, he came from Cantor Fitzgerald where he was the Head of Client Relationship Management. His efforts at Seaport Global will be aimed at curating value added content to further highlight the firm’s differentiated expertise. Jacob is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley’s School of Business.
Michael Cline, Managing Director, Research Sales
Michael Cline brings more than 20 years of experience to Seaport Global. His career includes leadership positions at Macquarie, Sterne Agee, UBS and Bear Stearns. More than eight years of his professional expertise was devoted to the buildout and growth of Sterne Agee & Leach. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
Mark Weintraub, CFA, Managing Director, Senior Equity Research Analyst
Mark Weintraub, an industry veteran, is an esteemed Senior Research Analyst covering Paper & Forest Products, and Homebuilders. Most recently, Mark was a Senior Analyst at Buckingham Research where he spent 15 years strengthening the firm’s franchise as a top rated Analyst. He spent the prior seven years as a Senior Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Mark is a graduate of Princeton University.

Greg Ransom has become the firm’s Head of Global Research. In his new role, Greg will report directly to Michael Meyer, the firm’s Head of Global Sales and Trading. He will continue work closely with Justin Cable, Director of Equity Research along with our partners in Sales and Trading to more fully integrate research into our broader equities platform. Greg has run Fixed Income Research for Seaport Global since 2009 and his previous positions include Head of Equity Research and High Grade Corporate Bond Research at Bank of America. Greg holds a B.S. in Business Management from Boston University, an MBA from Rice University and the CFA designation.
