SHRM Speakers Bureau Launches, Giving Access to Leading Workplace and Workforce Speakers on Hot Topics Affecting Work

The leading workplace association launches the SHRM Speakers Bureau with a roster of experts on leadership, inclusion, technology, harassment, immigration and more

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--In today’s business climate, it is almost impossible to build a business meeting or convention agenda without tackling the issues flowing through the workplace — from harassment to public policy and technology to immigration. Launching today, the SHRM Speakers Bureau provides access to stimulating talent to engage in lively, robust discussions on the issues impacting the workforce and workplace.

As the leading voice of the workplace, SHRM has convened and vetted thought leaders in key issues areas and will continue to build out the selection of speakers. The SHRM Speakers Bureau is available to members of the association and nonmembers and offers speakers to fit any budget or location.

“If you are discussing business, the business of people must be on your agenda,” said Kathy Harris, the bureau’s managing director. “We know who can lead an audience through a polarizing topic by creating positive, productive sessions because, with more than 300,000 members, we have seen the leading speakers in action from coast-to-coast and around the world. The new SHRM Speakers Bureau provides access to a wide range of speakers for meetings of any size, in any industry, anywhere.”

The service offers experts and thought leaders tackling topics such as sexual harassment in the wake of the #MeToo movement, government policy on employment-based immigration, pay equity, the global skills shortage and inclusion strategies that create open work cultures.

Speakers range from SHRM thought leaders, including President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., to visionary speakers across the HR industry, such as Marc Effron, president of the Talent Strategy Group, and Josh Bersin, founder and principal, Bersin by Deloitte.
