William Kircher Joins Triumph Group as EVP, Product Support

BERWYN, Pa.--()--Triumph Group (NYSE:TGI) today announced that William Kircher will join the company as Executive Vice President of its Product Support business unit. Kircher replaces Mike Abram who will retire at the end of the calendar year. Kircher brings more than 20 years of executive experience with demonstrated achievement in leading multinational businesses in the aerospace repair and services market.

In his new role, Kircher will lead the more than 1,000 Product Support employees who work in the business unit’s four operating companies across nine sites and at customer-based field operations. Triumph Product Support had an annual revenue of $282 million in fiscal year 2018 and is a leading provider of lifecycle solutions for commercial, regional and military aircraft for OEMs and operators.

Kircher joins Triumph Group from MB Aerospace, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that he served as Chief Executive Officer of VAS Aero Services, and spent 16 years with United Technologies in various leadership positions with the aftermarket arm of the company’s aerospace businesses, Pratt & Whitney and UTC Aerospace Systems.

Along with the change at the helm, the Triumph Product Support headquarters will move from Hot Springs, Arkansas to the greater Dallas region, bringing the business unit’s leadership team to a larger aerospace market where they will be in close proximity to OEM and airline customers as well as MRO partners. Mike Abram will remain with the company to assist with the transition of leadership and headquarters relocation.
