The Bapis Group Joins Rockefeller Capital Management

Nine-Person Private Wealth Management Group Marks First Team Hire

NEW YORK--()--Rockefeller Capital Management (“Rockefeller” or the “Firm”) today announced that The Bapis Group, a multigenerational private wealth management group, will join Rockefeller Wealth Management. Led by Nick and Michael Bapis, the nine-person team oversees approximately $1.2 billion in assets on behalf of high-net-worth individuals and families. The Bapis Group is the inaugural team hire for Rockefeller, as the Firm continues to build a leading high-net-worth wealth management business to complement its Global Family Office.

“The Bapis Group has helped generations of families preserve and grow their wealth, employing the same long-term, client-centric approach to wealth planning that we do at Rockefeller Wealth Management,” said Gregory J. Fleming, President & CEO of Rockefeller Capital Management. “As we continue to add to the capabilities of our existing platform, we are focused on the seamless integration of new advisors and teams to ensure they continue to serve clients with the same sophistication and integrity that our family office clients have relied on for decades.”

Founded in 1969 and with offices in New York City and Salt Lake City, The Bapis Group provides sound, outcome-oriented investment advice rooted in clients’ unique needs, values and financial goals. The group’s securities services will be conducted through Axiom Capital, pending FINRA approval of Rockefeller’s broker-dealer, which is expected in the near future.

“Part of Rockefeller’s strategy in building a premier wealth management platform is hiring best-in-class advisors and advisory teams, like The Bapis Group,” Fleming continued. “We are excited to have Nick, Michael, and their team join our growing platform.”

The hiring of the Bapis team is the latest development for Rockefeller Capital Management. Recently, the firm announced that Michael Outlaw has joined as a Managing Director, with responsibility for recruiting and managing financial advisors in the eastern half of the United States. In July, Jack Ryan joined from General Electric as Rockefeller’s Chief Human Capital Officer, leading human resource functions across Wealth Management, Asset Management and Strategic Advisory.
