LotLinx Adds Senior Sales Leader to Executive Team, Enhancing the Company’s Ability to Expand Award Winning AI-Driven Marketing Solutions to Auto Dealerships Across the Country

CHICAGO--()--LotLinx, the automotive industry’s No. 1 artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced today it has hired Michael Morrison as Senior Vice President of Sales in support of its mission to help auto dealers optimize their marketing spend and grow vehicle sales profits through highly targeted digital advertising campaigns.

Morrison brings to LotLinx over 10 years of sales leadership experience from the Nielsen Company, one of the most respected global measurement and data analytics companies for consumer and market research in the world. Most recently, he was Nielsen’s Managing Director of North America in the Watch organization, with a focus on advertising effectiveness. Throughout his career, he has built and led sales and research teams responsible for providing global enterprises across a number of industries with the business-critical insights necessary to optimize their media spend and increase profitability.

At LotLinx, Morrison will be responsible for building and leading a sales organization that empowers dealers to regain margin by using LotLinx /AI/ to reduce marketing waste. As the fastest growing company in Chicago according to Crain’s Chicago Business, LotLinx has a stellar track record of growth and the addition of Morrison is expected to help turbo-charge that further.

“The auto industry is experiencing shrinking profit numbers, for both new and used inventory, and rising digital advertising costs,” noted Morrison. “That means an optimized budget is key to survival. Increased spending does not automatically equal more sales. You can’t simply throw more money into your ad spend in the hopes of out-shouting the competition. That’s just noise, and it is easily ignored by consumers. The real trick is recognizing the exact time a potential customer is most inclined to listen and - most importantly - ready to buy. That’s where a dealer’s budget is best spent.”

“Michael is a natural fit for us as we continue to set aggressive goals for ourselves and the dealerships we serve,” said LotLinx Chief Operating Officer Gee Leung. “LotLinx provides tangible ROI, and the numbers bear that out. Michael’s insight will help dealers discern where to dedicate their marketing spend for optimal results. I’m confident that his addition to the team will be a key factor in maintaining the remarkable growth we continue to experience.”

This fall, LotLinx will attend several industry events, including Digital Dealer 25, DrivingSales Executive Summit, Autovate, Used Car Week, Kain Automotive, Automotive Analytics and Attribution Summit. Members of the company’s leadership team will be present at many of these conferences to discuss the company’s plans for upcoming initiatives to continue to help dealers optimize media spend.
