IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As school nutrition professionals convene in Las Vegas for the Annual Nutrition Conference (ANC), TITAN School Solutions, announced the successful completion of significant technical and operational reviews by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The industry’s only true Software as a Service (SaaS) company of K-12 school nutrition and administration experts is a major sponsor of this year’s convention.

According to the official USDA statement of July 5, 2018: “TITAN School Solutions has now met the requirements for USDA approval both for nutrient analyses required in the school meal programs and for use in certification of compliance with lunch meal requirements.”
TITAN School Solutions was founded in 2015 to answer a steady decline in competitive schools IT specialists. As demands on districts have increased over the years, school nutrition management IT providers have been consolidating or disappearing altogether. As a result, districts could depend on fewer choices, decreased specialization, and less innovation to accommodate increasing program mandates and management requirements.
TITAN has doubled its employees in the past two months with more growth expected in 2018.
Carol Weekly, a Registered Dietitian with more than 15 years of experience in school nutrition, joins the TITAN team in Las Vegas in her new role Application Consultant.
